Terms of Use

1. About these terms

By using the CORBU.EX website or CORBU.EX Perform you agree to these terms. If you use CORBU.EX on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are authorised to do so.

Where a separate proposal, order or agreement has been signed with corbu.ex Limited, that agreement governs the specific commercial terms it covers.

2. The service

CORBU.EX provides hospitality performance management software and related professional setup and implementation services. Current service paths are Free, Perform Individual, Business Pilot, Business, Business Performance and Portfolio or custom arrangements.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your access credentials secure. You must inform us promptly if you believe an account has been used without authorisation.

4. Free

The Free path allows one complete performance conversation. After that conversation is completed, the information already entered remains accessible according to the current product rules, and further conversations require an active Individual subscription or an applicable Business entitlement.

5. Perform Individual

Perform Individual is a self-service subscription for one manager. The current public prices are USD 19 per month or USD 190 per year.

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period unless applicable payment or refund rules require otherwise, and access continues until the end of that period.

When a subscription ends, historical performance information is not automatically deleted; it remains accessible in a read-only state until reactivated or deleted on request. Payment and subscription transactions are processed by Stripe.

6. Business, Business Performance and Portfolio

Business, Business Performance and Portfolio are not self-service checkout products. They may involve a separate proposal, an agreed scope, implementation and setup, a recurring subscription, operating-unit pricing and customised configuration.

Business Pilot is a sales and implementation path, not a public automatic subscription tier. The commercial terms for these paths are governed by the relevant proposal, order or agreement.

7. Professional Performance Setup

Business implementation may include agreed configuration such as operating-unit structure, roles, KPI frameworks, terminology, branding, manager setup and onboarding, as described in the relevant proposal. It does not include unlimited custom software development.

8. Performance information is management support

CORBU.EX outputs depend on the information entered by users. Performance summaries, KPI analysis, suggested questions and suggested actions are management-support tools.

They do not constitute legal advice, employment-law advice, tax advice, financial advice or automatic employment decisions. Customers remain responsible for their own management and employment decisions.

9. No guaranteed outcome

CORBU.EX provides tools and structured management support. We do not guarantee improved employee performance, employee retention, revenue growth, guest satisfaction, profitability or any other specific operational outcome.

10. Your responsibilities

• Use CORBU.EX lawfully and only enter information you are authorised to process.
• Keep your account secure and do not share access inappropriately.
• Avoid entering unnecessary sensitive personal data.
• Review system-generated output before acting on it.
• Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorised access or circumvent subscription and entitlement controls.

11. Employee information and employer responsibility

For employee information entered into CORBU.EX, the relevant customer or manager remains responsible for ensuring that they have an appropriate basis and the authority to process and submit that information.

CORBU.EX does not assume the employer's legal responsibilities towards its employees.

12. Intellectual property

The CORBU.EX methodologies, product architecture, software, content, performance frameworks, report structures, design and materials remain owned by or licensed to corbu.ex Limited, as applicable.

Customers retain their rights in the business and employee data they submit. We do not claim ownership of that underlying data.

13. Acceptable use

• Do not attempt unauthorised access or interfere with the security of the service.
• Do not reverse engineer the service where this is prohibited or unauthorised.
• Do not use CORBU.EX unlawfully or upload malicious content.
• Do not misuse another person's account.
• Do not use the product to discriminate intentionally against employees or to harm them unlawfully.
• Do not manipulate access controls or paid entitlements.

14. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available and reliable, but access may be interrupted for maintenance, technical reasons or circumstances outside our control. We may change or improve the product and may update these terms; the current version is shown on this page.

15. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, corbu.ex Limited is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business or loss of data arising from the use of CORBU.EX, and its total liability in connection with the service is limited to the amounts paid for the service in the twelve months before the relevant event.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and the courts of Hong Kong have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
